Based in Lexington · Serving international families across Greater Boston

A steady first step into American schools.

From choosing the right school to enrollment to settling into the classroom, we guide newly-arrived families through the first — and most important — steps of the U.S. education system.

Just arrived

New to the U.S.? These are the real hurdles.

Choosing a school

Districts, school choice, registration paperwork — where do you even start?

The language gap

Your child is still developing confidence in English. How will the school evaluate their needs and provide English Language Education (ELE/ESL) support?

Talking to the school

Emails from teachers, parent-teacher conferences — you catch maybe half.

A different system

Grading, course selection, extracurriculars — nothing works the way it did back home.

What we do

With you, every step of the way

01

School selection & enrollment

Before you move

Compare towns, school districts, and public vs. private options, and weigh the factors that should shape where you settle.

After you move

Handle residency-based registration, understand placement, and get ready for the first weeks of school.

02

Language & ELE support

We help you understand your child's language evaluation, placement, and available school support, and prepare you to communicate effectively with the school.

03

Parent–school communication

We translate and interpret what the school sends, and support you through conferences — so there's no language wall between you and your child's teachers.

04

Academic & long-term planning

From settling in to future admissions, we lay out a clear, sustainable path for your child's growth.

Why families choose us

We know what to fix, and how — an insider who's been here.

A real classroom educator, locally

One of our founders taught English Language Education (ELE/ESL) for years at Bridge Elementary School in Lexington. She knows every school here — and every challenge a child faces in a new place.

Fully bilingual

Chinese and English, effortlessly. Whatever the school says or you want to ask, we carry it across intact.

An Ivy-level perspective

We look ahead with the standards of Harvard and the Ivy League — so your child doesn't just adapt, but aims higher.

Selective, not bulk

We work with a limited number of families. Every child is a person we know — not a case number.
